ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ നൈൽ നദിതടപ്രദേശത്ത് വസിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമാണ് ഡിങ്ക. ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ ജനതകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഡിങ്ക. അവരുടെ ശരാശരി ഉയരം അഞ്ച് അടി പതിനൊന്നര ഇഞ്ചാണെന്ന് 1953 ൽ നടത്തിയ ഒരു പഠനം കണ്ടെത്തി.[2] ഇവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥല പ്രദേശം കൂടുതലും ദക്ഷിണ സുഡാനിലാണ്. 2008 ൽ സുഡാൻ സർക്കാർ നടത്തിയ സെൻസസ് അനുസരിച്ച് ഇവരുടെ ജനസംഖ്യ 45 ലക്ഷം ആയിരുന്നു. [3] ഒരു നിലോട്ടിക് ഭാഷയായ ഡിങ്ക ഭാഷയാണ് ഇവർ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത്. [4] പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ഡിങ്കകൾ അനിമിസ്റ്റിൿ മത വിശ്വാസികളാണ്. ഈയിടെയായി മിഷനറിമാരുടെ പ്രവർത്തന ഫലമായി പല ഡിങ്കകളും ക്രിസ്തുമത വിശ്വാസികളായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
