സ്കോട്ട്ലാന്റ് /ˈskɒtlənd/ (english: Scotland,Gaelic: Alba) യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിങ്ഡത്തിലെ നാലു രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്.[3] 790 ദ്വീപുകൾ സ്കോട്ട്ലാന്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്.[4].1707 മേയ് 1-ന് സ്വതന്ത്രരാജ്യമായിരുന്ന സ്കോട്ട്ലാന്റ് ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് രാജ്യത്തിൽ ചേർന്നു.[5][6]ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടുമായി തെക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത് അതിർത്തി പങ്കിടുന്നു. എഡിൻബറോ ആണ് തലസ്ഥാനം. സ്കോട്ട്ലാൻറിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരവും യൂറോപ്പിലെ സാമ്പത്തിക കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നുമാണ് ഈ നഗരം. ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോ ആണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരം.
