- In general, it is always better to write the names as in the source language. //ആംഗലേയത്തിന്റെ മലയാളമാണ് മലയാളത്തിൽ പ്രചാരം// :( Let us leave the names which are already used and most popular ones, though they are wrong. But we have to write the 'newer' names as such in the source language with modifications (if any) in malayalam. It is wrong to follow english everywhere. Especially, when a guy/girl moves to some other geographical location, the local name is the popular one. Though english word might be known, the pronounciation may vary a lot. I have seen many people asking for direction in english name with different pronounciation. It won't help them. Best solution is to write those names as in source language. If not possible, names of the places where malayalees live in bigger numbers can atleast be written as in source language. (Since those names will be popular among malayalees than the english counterparts). Also popular tourist names can also be written in these names.
