There is a place near Pathanamthitta district head quater named Valamchuzhi, where the river Achencoil flows to east for some half kilometer, which is unnatural to other rivers which flows to West. This place is only 1.5 kilometers from Kumbazha Bridge. Also we can mentioned that this river flows through border of Pathanamthitta municipality.
