ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര രംഗത്തെ ഒരു അഭിനേത്രിയും മോഡലുമാണ് റിയ സെൻ(ബംഗാളി: রিয়া সেন; ഹിന്ദി: रिया सेन;IPA: [ria ʃen] ITRANS:riYA sen) (ജനനം: ജനുവരി 24, 1981). ഒരു അഭിനയ പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് റിയ ജനിച്ചത്. തന്റെ മുത്തശ്ശിയായ സുചിത്ര സെൻ, അമ്മയായ മുൻ മുൻ സെൻ, സഹോദരി റൈമ സെൻ എന്നിവർ അഭിനേത്രികളാണ്.

ആദ്യമായി റിയ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു ബാലതാരമായി വിഷ് കന്യ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ 1991 ലാണ്. 18 വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ ഭാരതിരാജ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഒരു തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ താജ് മഹൽ എന്ന ഈ ചിത്രം വിജയിച്ചില്ല.[1] ഹിന്ദിയിലെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രം 2001 ലെ സ്റ്റൈൽ എന്ന ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു.[2] ഈ ചെറിയ ബഡ്ജറ്റിലെ ചിത്രം [3][4] തന്റെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഒരു വിജയമായിരുന്നു.[5]

പ്രശസ്ത സംഗീതഞ്ജനായ ബർമന്റെ ഓർമ്മക്കായി നിർമ്മിച്ച ചിത്രമായ ഝംകാർ ബീറ്റ്സ് റിയയുടെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ മറ്റൊരു ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു.[6] ഇതിൽ ജൂഹി ചാവ്‌ല, രാഹുൽ ബോസ്, റിങ്കി ഖന്ന, സഞ്ജയ് സൂരി എന്നിവർ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[7]

2005 ൽ ശാദി നം:1 എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഇഷ ഡിയോൾ, സോഹ അലി ഖാൻ, ആയിഷ ടാക്കിയ എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ചു.[8][9][10]

റിയയുടെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ആദ്യവിജയ ചിത്രം 2001 ൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ സ്റ്റൈൽ എന്ന ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു.

ഹിന്ദി കൂടാതെ തന്നെ ബംഗാളി ചിത്രങ്ങളീൽ റീയ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ തെലുങ്ക്, മലയാളം എന്നീ ഭാഷകളിലും റിയ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[11][dead link]

ആദ്യ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ചിത്രം ഒരു ബംഗാളി ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പുനർനിർമ്മാണമായ ഇറ്റ് വാസ റേയിനിംഗ് ദാറ്റ് നൈറ്റ് എന്ന ചിത്രമാണ്.[12] ഹിന്ദി കൂടാതെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ വിജയം നേടീയ ഇതര ബോളിവുഡ് ചിത്രം മലയാളത്തിലെ അനന്തഭദ്രം എന്ന സന്തോഷ് ശിവൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ചിത്രമാണ്/ [13][14] ഇത് ഒരു വിജയ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു.[15]

ആദ്യ കാലത്ത് അഭിനയത്തിനു മുൻപ് റിയ മോഡലിംഗിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പ്രശസ്ത ഗായികയായ ഫാൽഗുനിയുടെ ഒരു സംഗീത ആൽബത്തിലും റിയ ആദ്യം അഭിനയിച്ചിരുന്നു. [16][17] ഇതിനു ശേഷം ധാരാളം സംഗീത ആൽബങ്ങളിൽ അവസരം ലഭിച്ചു.[18] കൂടാതെ ധാരാളം പരസ്യ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും അഭിനയിക്കാൻ റിയക്ക് അവസരം ലഭിച്ചു. 2004 ൽ പ്രശസ്ത ഫാഷൻ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫർ ആയ ഡാ‍ാബു രത്നാനിയുടെ ഫാഷൻ കലണ്ടറിൽ ഫോട്ടൊക്ക് പോസ് ചെയ്തു.[19][20][21]

പ്രസിദ്ധ നടിയായ മുൻ മുൻ സെന്നിന്റെ മകളായി ജനിച്ച റിയ സെൻ,[22][23] മുംബൈയിലേക്ക് വരുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് തന്നെ തന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ റൈമ സെൻ ഒരു അഭിനേത്രിയായിർന്നു.[24][25]
