പ്രമുഖ സാമ്പത്തിക വിദഗ്ധനാണ് രഘുറാം രാജൻ(ജനനം :3 ഫെബ്രുവരി 1963). അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നാണ്യ നിധിയിൽ ചീഫ് ഇക്കണോമിസ്റ്റായും ചിക്കാഗോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ പ്രൊഫസറായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന ഇദ്ദേഹം ഇന്ത്യൻ ധനമന്ത്രാലയത്തിലെ മുഖ്യ സാമ്പത്തിക ഉപദേഷ്ടാവാണ്.[1]

അഹമ്മദാബാദ് ഐഐഎമ്മിലും ഡൽഹി ഐഐടിയിലും പഠിച്ച രഘുറാം മസാച്ചുസെറ്റ്സ് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഡോക്ടറേറ്റും കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മൻമോഹൻ സിങ്ങിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായും സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2008ലെ ആഗോള സാമ്പത്തിക മാന്ദ്യം പ്രവചിച്ചതോടെയാണ് സാമ്പത്തിക വിദഗ്ധരുടെ ഇടയിൽ രഘുറാം പ്രശസ്തനാകുന്നത്. ധനകാര്യ മേഖലയിലെ പരിഷ്ക്കരണങ്ങൾക്കായി പ്ലാനിങ് കമ്മീഷന് വേണ്ടി റിപ്പോർട്ട് തയ്യാറാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

- Fault Lines: How Hidden Fractures Still Threaten the World Economy, published in 2010,[2] has won the Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award for 2010.[3][4][2][5]
- He has also published numerous articles in top-tier finance and economics journals including the American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Perspectives, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance and Oxford Review of Economic Policy.
