അറബ് ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ദുബായിയില് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ഉയര്ന്ന കെട്ടിടമാണ് ബര്ജ് ദുബായി (അറബി: برج دبي "ദുബായി ടവര്") . ഇത് 2009 ല് നിര്മ്മാണം പൂര്ത്തീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. [1][2] ഇത് ഇന്നുവരെ മനുഷ്യനിര്മ്മിത കെട്ടിടങ്ങളിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയതാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ നിര്മ്മാണം തുടങ്ങിയത് 21 സെപ്റ്റംബര് 2004 നാണ്. [1][2]
ദുബായിയുടെ വികസന പദ്ധതിയായ ഡൌണ് ടൌണ് ബര് ദുബായി എന്ന 2 കിമീ2 (0.8 ച. മൈ.) വിസ്താരത്തിലുള്ള വികസനപദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് ബര്ജ് ദുബായ്. ദുബായിയിലെ പ്രധാന ഗതാഗത പാതയായ ഷേക് സായിദ് റോഡിനടുത്തായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ഈ കൂറ്റന് എടുപ്പിന്റെ ശില്പി അഡ്രിയാന് സ്മിത്ത് ആണ്. [7][8] ബര്ജു ദുബായിയുടെ പ്രധാന നിര്മ്മാണ കരാറുകാര് സാംസങ്ങ് ബേസിക്സ്, അറബ്ടെക് എന്നീ കമ്പനികളാണ്.[9] നിര്മ്മാണ മേല്നോട്ടം ടര്ണര് എന്ന കമ്പനിയാണ് ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. [10]
ഇതിന്റെ മൊത്തം നിര്മ്മാണ ചിലവ് ഏകദേശം US$4.1 ബില്ല്യണ് ആണ്. കൂടാതെ മൊത്തം വികസനപദ്ധതിയായ ഡൌണ് ടൌണ് ദുബായിയുടെ നിര്മ്മാണ ചിലവ് US$20 ബില്ല്യണ് ആണ്.[11]
