1990 കളിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ റാപ്പ് ഗായകനാണ് ബാബ സേഹ്ഗൽ. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ റാപ്പ് ഗായകനെന്ന ബഹുമതി ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനാണ് ഉള്ളത്.[1][2] തന്റെ ആദ്യത്തെ ആൽബം എം.ടി.വിക്ക് വേണ്ടി ആദ്യമായി തയ്യാറാക്കി.[3] അതിനു ശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം ഇന്ത്യൻ റാപ്പ് ഗായക രംഗത്ത് പ്രശസ്തനായി.[4] ചില പ്രധാന ആൽബങ്ങൾ തണ്ട തണ്ട പാനി ,[5] 'മഞ്ജുള' 'ദിൽ ധഡ്കേ' എന്നിവയാണ്.[6]

ബിറ്റ്സ് പിലാനിയിൽ നിന്നും എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കഴിഞ്ഞതിനുശേഷം തന്റെ ജീവിതമാർഗ്ഗം സംഗീതം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു സേഹ്ഗൽ.[7] ആദ്യ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീത ആൽബം എം.ടി.വി ഏഷ്യയിൽ കാണിച്ചതും ബാബ സേഹ്ഗലിന്റെ ആണ്.[8] (ഇത് ഹോംങ്കോങ്ങിൽ നിന്നാണ് സമ്പ്രേഷണം ചെയ്തത്.
ഇതുവരെ 22 ആൽബങ്ങൾ ഇതുവരെ ബാബ പുറത്തിറക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[9] ഇതിൽ ഒട്ടൂമിക്കതു വളരെ വിജയം നേടിയതായിരുന്നു.
