ഡബ്ലിനിലെ ശിഖരം

അയര്ലണ്ട് രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ഡബ്ലിന് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാന ആകര്ഷണമാണ് സ്പൈര് ഓഫ് ഡബ്ലിന് (Spire of Dublin) എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഡബ്ലിനിലെ ശിഖരം. വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ സ്മാരകം എന്നര്ത്ഥമുള്ള പേരായ മോനുമെന്റ് ഓഫ് ലൈറ്റ് (Monument of Light) [1] എന്നാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക നാമം. (Irish: An Túr Solais)[2] ഈ തലസ്ഥാന നഗരിയിലെ പ്രദാന വീഥിയായ ഓ' കോനെളിലാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഒരു പിന്നിന്റെ ആകൃതിയില് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന 120 metres (390 ft) ഉയരമുള്ള ഈ സ്തൂപം നഗരിക്ക് ഒരു അലങ്കാരമാണ്.
