1974-ൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിൽ ജനനം. 1996-ൽ സോഷ്യോളജിയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.[3] പിതാവിന്റെ നിർബദ്ധത്തിന് വഴങ്ങി ആർമിയിൽ ചേർന്നു. കൊസൊവൊയിലെ മാസിഡോണിയ-യൊഗോസ്ലോവിയ അതിർത്തിയിൽ നാറ്റോ സൈന്യത്തിൽ സേവനമനുഷ്ടിച്ചു. 2002-ൽ ആർമിയിൽ നിന്ന് പിരിഞ്ഞു.
2003-ൽ ആദ്യ ആൽബം "ബാക്ക് ടു ബെഡ്ലം" പുറത്തുവന്നു.[4][5] ഈ ആൽബത്തിലെ "യു ആർ ബ്യൂട്ടിഫുൾ" എന്ന ഗാനം വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായി. ലോകത്താകമാനം ബാക്ക് ടു ബെഡ്ലം 11 മില്യൺ കോപ്പികൾ വിറ്റഴിഞ്ഞു.[6] അമേരിക്കയിൽ മാത്രം 2.6 മില്യൻ കോപ്പികൾ വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരു വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഏറ്റവും വേഗത്തിൽ വിറ്റഴിഞ്ഞ ആൽബം എന്ന ഗിന്നസ് റെക്കോർഡ് നേടി.[7] 2007-ൽ രണ്ടാമത് ആൽബം "ഓൾ ദി ലോസ്റ്റ് സോൾസ്" പുറത്തിറങ്ങി.
