തെക്കെ ഇന്ത്യ, മലയ, ബോമിയോ, സുമാത്ര എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന പേക്കാന്തവളകളുടെ ഒരു ഇനമാണ് ഏഷ്യൻ മരത്തവള (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്:Asian Tree Toad). ബുഫൊനിഡൈ കുടുംബത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഈ തവളകളെയെല്ലാം പെഡൊസ്റ്റിബസ്(Pedostibes) എന്ന ജനുസ്സിലാണ് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
