ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്രസംവിധായകയാണ് അഞ്ജലി മേനോൻ. 2012-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മഞ്ചാടിക്കുരു ആണ് അഞ്ജലി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ആദ്യ മുഴുനീള ചലച്ചിത്രം. പൃഥ്വിരാജ് നായകനായി അഭിനയിച്ച ഈ ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിനു് 2008-ലെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയിൽ മികച്ച മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ഫിപ്രെസി പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.2009-ൽ ന്യൂയോർക്കിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്ന സൗത്ത് ഏഷ്യൻ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റിവലിൽ മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്രം, മികച്ച സംവിധായകൻ, മികച്ച തിരക്കഥ, മികച്ച ഛായാഗ്രഹണം, മികച്ച വളർന്നു വരുന്ന താരം എന്നീ 5 പ്രധാന ജൂറി പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നേടി[1][2][3][4]. കേരള കഫെ എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഹാപ്പി ജേണി എന്നൊരു ഹ്രസ്വ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തതും അഞ്ജലിയാണ്.

ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതവും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും[തിരുത്തുക]

ടി മാധവൻ നായർ ശാരദ ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളായി കോഴിക്കോട് ജനിച്ചു. ദുബായിൽ പഠിച്ച് വളർന്ന അഞ്ജലി മേനോൻ കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്ന് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും കോഴിക്കോട് പ്രോവിഡെൻസ് വിമൻസ് കോളേജ് നിന്ന് ബിരുദവും നേടി. പൂനെ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദാനന്തരബിരുദം കരസ്ഥമാക്കി. ശേഷം 2000-ൽ ലണ്ടൻ ഫിലിം സ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്നു സംവിധാനകലയിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.
